February 2008: David Warnes,
Director of the Repossessions Advice Centre featured on
midday Sky News discussing the latest report from the Council
of Mortgage Lenders, which has said 27,100 homes were taken
back by lenders last year.

David Warnes
reported, “With people
coming off cheap mortgage deals in a period of low lending
we expect numbers of repossessions to dramatically increase.
We would actively encourage people to learn how to budget
and prioritize the important debts, for example mortgage payments
rather than unserured debt."
